Tauchplätze: gäbe es sicher sehenswerteres
Tauchguides: Basis Inhaber war sehr eigen.
Trotz meines PFO wurde nicht darauf geachtet, dass ich zügig aus dem Wasser kam ohne Equipment. Wir mussten x-mal geschlagene 15Minuten auf der Oberfläche warten, bis das Boot uns aufgeladen hat.
Auf unsere Kritik wurde geantwortet: das sei halt so. Auf unsere Nachfrage, ob wir denn nicht 10min längere Tauchzeit bekämen, ging man nicht ein!!
Die Crew hat jeweils widerwillig mein Equipment hochgezogen (wegen PFO darf ich mich nach dem Tauchen nicht anstrengen), das Jacket wurde am Inflator Schlauch statt am Bügel des Jackets hochgezogen!! Das ist mein eigenes Equipment und nicht eine Leih-Ausrüstung!!
Aussage des Basis-Leiters: das kann nicht sein, seine Crew sei sehr erfahren!!

Das etwas kleinere Boot (nicht die Tornado) war ok. Allerdings waren die Bänke schmaler, was ein anziehen des Jackets mühsam machte bei vollem Boot.
Die Treppe ist viel zu kurz, da fehlen mindestens 2 Tritte. Zudem fehlte das Seil an der Seite der Treppe zum festhalten, während einer nach dem anderen aufs Boot steigt.
Diese Basis definitiv nie wieder.

Dear guests, thank you for your feedback. We would like to give a statement to explain the situation from our point of view:
We were aware that one of the divers has a PFO, but by checking at the orientation dive they told us that they are experienced divers and can take care of everything themselves like taking a longer safety stop with their buddys in a group of four. We were confident they were experienced enough to know what they are doing. Unless they used a big amount of weights and as well a 15l tank which made the whole equipment very heavy. The weight of the equipment meant that the Dhoni Crew had problems to get it out of the water back on to the boat after the dive. Unfortunately at this process one of the crew member did accidently touched the hose of their equipment. The Operations Manager talked with the crew to remind them to be more carefully.
Regarding the boat situation, it is true that we now have a smaller boat with a smaller ladder & bench, but since Covid-19 we also have less guests so it is suitable for our current needs. The boat is actually provided by the Hotel and we don’t have much say in what boat we get to use, so it is better we can use this small boat than not offer boat trips at all for the guests! Any complaint about the boat can only be directed at the hotel.
We are sorry that the guests had to stay a bit longer on the surface on one day. But with a group of 10 divers which all have to get back to the boat again, there is automatically a waiting time. As well there were always in sight of the Dhoni captain. Another organization wouldn’t be possible as we would be late to return to the resort.
The other buddy pair (their friends) continued to dive with us and were very happy with the service of the dive center and the dives.
We are sorry that it didn`t worked out for the guests, we would have liked to have handled the situation differently.
